If you are unsure about visiting
"Bonesetter clinics seem intimidating," "I'm not sure what kind of treatment is involved" — many visitors share these concerns.
At Arita Bonesetter Clinic, we begin with a thorough consultation to understand your current condition, and carefully explain everything before any treatment.
Please feel free to ask anything you are uncertain or worried about.

- 🏆 The same standard of care given to J-League players
Skills and assessment refined through caring for professional athletes are applied to your treatment.

We share at-home stretches and tips so improvement continues until your next visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can I walk in without an appointment?
A. We are strictly by appointment. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Please book via LINE or phone first.
Q. Can I use insurance?
A. We specialize in private-pay (out-of-network) treatment. Without insurance constraints, we can dedicate the time and content you need. The exception is traffic-accident treatment, which is covered by Japan's mandatory auto insurance (no out-of-pocket cost for the patient).
Q. How many visits will I need?
A. It depends on your symptoms and how long they have lasted. After the first session, we can give you an estimate of progress. There is no fixed required number of visits.
Q. Can children be treated?
A. Yes. We treat sports injuries in junior-high and high-school students. Minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Q. Is this comfortable for women?
A. Yes. We have many female patients. Treatments are conducted with privacy in mind. For women-specific concerns, please also see the Women's Health page.
Q. Is post-treatment soreness possible?
A. After the first session you may feel a mild soreness, similar to a deep-tissue massage aftereffect. This is often a sign that the body is changing — but if it concerns you, please contact us right away.
Q. Can I cancel on the day?
A. If you must cancel due to illness or unavoidable circumstances, please contact us via LINE or phone as early as possible. We kindly ask that you avoid no-shows.
